Dr Katya Kotschet is a Movement Disorders neurologist at St Vincent's Health and Calvary Health Care Bethlehem in Melbourne, and has been a research fellow at Florey Neurosciences, with her research interests including automated movement assessment in Parkinson's disease with the PKG.
Dr Jen Nagao is a movement disorders specialist with a special interest in deep brain stimulation. She completed movement disorders fellowships at Monash Medical Centre and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals before undertaking further DBS training at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan. She currently works at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Austin Hospital.
Laura is a neurologist with an interest in movement disorders. She graduated from the Medical University in Vienna in 2009 and obtained her PhD from her hometown university in Cluj, Romania. After moving to Australia in 2011, she completed two movement disorders fellowships at Monash Health. Her clinical expertise includes tremor, dystonia, Parkinson’s disease, atypical Parkinsonian syndromes and MND. She is actively involved in clinical trial research. Her interest in human movement extends to physical exercise at scientific and participatory levels.
Arthur completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2016 and is a recently qualified movement disorder Neurologist. He completed his training at the Royal Melbourne and Austin hospitals. He is currently a PhD candidate looking into optimising deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease, having obtained the NHMRC post-graduate and ANZAN research scholarships. Alongside his PhD, he is clinically based out of the movement disorders unit at Austin Health and has a clinical appointment in medical education at the University of Melbourne medical school.

Dr Christine Wools MBBS (hons), FRACP (Neurology), MPhil (medicine), BSc.
Following her general medical and specialty Neurology training in Melbourne, Christine completed fellowship training in the area of Neurogenetics in Sydney, with a Masters thesis in the area of mitochondrial disease. She has current clinical appointments at the Royal Melbourne, Calvary Healthcare Bethlehem, and Epworth hospitals and has interest and clinical experience in managing patients with Genetically based Neurological diseases, Movement disorders, Headache, and Motor neurone disease.
Dr. Lin Zhang is a neurologist with subspecialty training in movement disorders and headaches, holding appointments at Box Hill Hospital as a movement disorders neurologist and at Epworth Hospital (Richmond and Eastern) as a visiting neurologist.
Her area of clinical interest focusses on comprehensive management of Parkinson’s disease, dystonia (including botulinum toxin therapy), gait abnormalities and complex headache disorders. She completed physician and neurology training in New South Wales, followed by a clinical research fellowship at The Alfred Hospital, specialising in movement disorders and headaches, and a recent short-term fellowship at Toronto Western Hospital’s Movement Disorders Unit in Canada.
As part of her fellowship, she undertook a research project for a Research master’s degree in Biomedical Science at Monash University, exploring the association between migraine and cervical dystonia.
Dr. Zhang is also passionate about medical education, serving as a Teaching Associate and Clinical Lecturer at Monash University, where she contributes to the training and mentorship of medical students.
