We are excited to announce that the Movement Disorder Society of Australia and New Zealand (MDSANZ) will host a Practical Skills Workshop in 2025! The event will take place on Saturday 3 & Sunday 4 May 2025, at the Rydges Hotel in Melbourne.
This Workshop is primarily designed for neurology trainees but other interested neurologists, geriatricians, physicians and nurses are also welcome to attend.
The Scientific Program will cover essential therapies used in the management of Parkinson’s Disease (PD) and other movement disorders. Topics will include continuous subcutaneous and intestinal dopaminergic therapies, deep brain stimulation, dystonia, tremor, botulinum toxin and practical genetics. Attendees will also have the opportunity to experience hands-on demonstrations of devices relevant to these treatments. A draft program will be made available in early 2025.
There are partnership opportunities available to support the Workshop and a prospectus will be circulated shortly.
We hope to welcome you along!
