Clinical Trials Network

About Us:

The Movement Disorders Australia & New Zealand Clinical Trials Network (MDSANZ CTN) is a newly established initiative operating under the governance of the Movement Disorders Society of Australia & New Zealand (MDSANZ). Our mission is to position our region as a leading destination for clinical research, while ensuring patients and clinicians are informed about the latest opportunities to participate.

We coordinate and support both commercially sponsored and investigator-led trials across all movement disorders, from early-stage studies to late-phase interventions. In addition to trial coordination, we act as a central hub for up-to-date information — connecting researchers, clinicians, and patients with the resources they need.

Our network brings together a large database of neurologists and trial coordinators from sites across Australia and New Zealand, guided by some of the region’s most experienced and respected clinical trial specialists and institutions.

By fostering collaboration and streamlining trial access, the MDSANZ CTN aims to accelerate the development of new treatments and improve quality of life for people living with movement disorders.
