Clinical Trials Network

For Researchers:

The MDSANZ Clinical Trials Network is designed to support researchers at every stage of clinical trials for movement disorders. Whether you’re leading an investigator-initiated study or collaborating on a commercially sponsored project, we provide the infrastructure, expertise, and connections you need to succeed.

Phase 1 trials looking to come to our region can be provided with data and reports to help identify and select the clinical sites and PI’s that most align with their desired outcomes.

We can offer support to more quickly have CDA’s approved, feasibility questionnaires completed, and protocols reviewed.

Consultation services are available with Australia’s leading Neurology specialists, experienced in clinical research and able to provide feedback and refine protocols for smoother implementation and patient recruitment.

For Phase 2 and Phase 3 trials, the CTN will negotiate national per-patient budgets for member sites and streamline ethics approval. We will also work with selected sites and Principle Investigators to support start-up processes and help fast-track approval timelines.

Ongoing assistance during the life of the trial encompasses monthly review of recruitment targets and trial updates, site liaison and conflict resolution, risk management support and improved protocol amendment turnaround times.
